Published Updated 8 views

Arduino ATTiny85 USB overview

The Arduino ATTiny85 USB is a Development Board. Main ratings: Controller ATMEL Tiny85 AVR 8-bit in SOIC-8 package; Clock speed 1-20 MHz; Flash 8 KB, of which a little over 2 KB is used by the bootloader; RAM-memory 512 bytes. This page brings together the Arduino ATTiny85 USB pinout and key specifications, with the full datasheet PDF to preview below or download.

The Arduino ATtiny85 USB is an 8-bit Atmel ATtiny85 MCU from the same AVR family that the Arduino boards are based on. The Arduino ATtiny85 USB can be programmed using the Arduino IDE and much of the standard Arduino software and existing libraries will work with it. Other libraries have been modified to work properly with the ATtiny85 USB. The module uses specific pins for USB communication. The pins are connected to a 1.5K pull-up resistor required for USB communication. These pins are in parallel with the USB connector that is on the module.

The module offers a wide variety of features corresponding to its effective usages such as ESD protection, I2C, and serial peripheral interface ability. The board also features external interrupt capability allowing for its effective use in DIY projects. Arduino ATTiny85 USB Development Board is intended for semi-permanent installation in objects or exhibitions. The board comes without pre-mounted headers, allowing the use of various types of connectors or direct soldering of wires.
