ESP-01 overview
The ESP-01 is an ESP8266 WiFi Module. Main ratings: Module Model ESP-01; Package DIP-8; Size 24.7*14.4*11.0 (±0.2)mm; Power Supply Requirements Voltage 3.0V - 3.6V, Current >300mA. This page brings together the ESP-01 pinout and key specifications, with the full datasheet PDF to preview below or download.
ESP-01 ESP8266 Serial WiFi wireless transceiver module is a self contained SOC with an integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give any MCU access to your WiFi network. The ESP-01 ESP8266 is capable of either hosting an application or offloading all WiFi networking functions from another application processor. ESP-01 comes with a pre-programmed AT command set firmware, allowing you to simply hook up to your Arduino device and get about as much WiFi-ability as a stand-alone WiFi shield module. The ESP-01 ESP8266 module is extremely cost-effective and offers a plethora of design features.
ESP-01 ESP8266 has a powerful on-board processor and a vast storage capacity that allows it to be integrated with a multitude of sensors and application-specific devices through its GPIOs with minimal development up-front and minimal up and off-loading during runtime.
