ESP-02 ESP8266 802.11 WiFi Module

Published Updated 4 views

ESP-02 overview

ESP-02 ESP8266 module is a highly integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n module that consumes extremely low power while providing a wireless internet connection for embedded devices. With a very small form factor (18mm by 20mm), this wireless module easily assimilates into resource limited devices. These features make ESP-02 a great choice for OEMs to connect their IoT (Internet of Things) applications. The embedded ESP8266EX chip gives the ESP-WROOM-02 module a wake up and transmits at a packet speed of less than 2ms which makes it a great solution for a wide variety of applications including IoT, EDGE computing, etc.

ESP-02 WiFi Module integrates a Tensilica L106 32-bit RISC processor, which achieves extra-low power consumption and reaches a maximum clock speed of 160 MHz. The Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and Wi-Fi stack allow 80% of the processing power to be available for user application programming and development
