Raspberry Pi 1 Model B Rev 1 Developer Board
Raspberry Pi 1 overview
The Raspberry Pi 1 is a Model B Rev 1 Developer Board made by Broadcom. Main ratings: Chip Broadcom BCM2835 SoC; CPU 700 MHz Low Power ARM1176JZFS Applications Processor; GPU Dual Core VideoCore IV® Multimedia Co-Processor Provides Open GL ES 2.0, hardware-accelerated OpenVGA; Ethernet 10/100 BaseT Ethernet socket. This page brings together the Raspberry Pi 1 pinout and key specifications, with the full datasheet PDF to preview below or download.
The Raspberry Pi 1 Model B is a small, powerful and lightweight ARM based computer which can do many of the things a desktop PC can do. It is a very cheap computer that runs Linux, but also provides a set of GPIO (general purpose input/output) pins, allowing you to control electronic components for physical computing and explore the Internet of Things (IoT). The powerful graphics capabilities and HDMI video output make it ideal for multimedia applications such as media centers and narrowcasting solutions.
The Raspberry Pi 1 Model B is based on the Broadcom BCM2835 chip. It does not feature a built-in hard disk or solid-state drive, instead relying on an SD card for booting and long-term storage.
